While in Louisiana, my trip would not have been complete unless I saw and experienced the Cajun country. As a result I moved over to the heart of this unique culture in Broussard. This area is called Acadiana by the locals. It was settled shortly after 1763 by nearly 3000 Acadian, (Eastern Canadian), refugees.
