A decent hostel to stay Sep 24, 2009
Broadway Hotel n Hostel is one of the nicer hostels on the upper west side. The common rooms are quite dark, but well maintained and not dodgy as the Central Park Hostel.
The reception is speedy, during the hostel rush-hour three people are checking in and out the guests. The common area offers two big TV screens for watching television and have a descent sound system installed. The kitchen is clean and also well maintained. The bed were good, the only thing that I didn't like was that again about 20-30 people share one bathroom. And the toilet is in the bathroom as well. The free internet wireless lan was not always working. All together it was a decent place to stay - hopefully some of you will enjoy it as well if you decide to go there. For Breakfast or dinner check out the "Metro Diner" close to the hostle - a nice place. And there are also a few other restaurants and a supermarket with a good selection on foods closeby. |
