Broadmoor Hotel Colorado Springs Reviews
Everything you could want in a Hotel/Resort Dec 04, 2008
The Broadmoor has everything you could ask for and more. It is located on 3,000 lush acres under the shadow of Cheyenne Mountain and offers an award-winning spa, fitness center, two swimming pools, three outdoor hot tubs, one lap pool, 54 holes of championship golf, six tennis courts, children's programs, 24-hour room service and 25 specialty retail shops. The resort has 18 restaurants, cafés and lounges and whichever you choose you can't go wrong, the food is incredible. The Broadmoor is a pet friendly resort. The staff places bedding and food bowls in your room for the duration of your stay.
There is a zoo very close by as well as the famous Seven Falls which the kids will highly enjoy. There are plenty more restaurants a short drive away and plenty of places to shop as well as a movie theater. |

The Broadmoor Hotel Sep 21, 2008
WOW!!!
This place will far surpass your expectations. It is truly a 5 star resort. There are so many attractions both on the resort and off that it would be impossible to see it all. The hotel is at the base of the mountains with spectacular views from every room (I was in 6 of them). There is a gorgeous lake on the resort complete with swans, a plethora of birds and the occasional deer on site as well. The service was A+ as was the food, and pretty much everything else. Although there are free shuttles to several local attractions such as the zoo and 7 falls, if you plan to travel extensively off the resort I recommend renting a car, so that you can go to Pikes peak and Garden of the Gods. Furthermore since the resort is so big there is a complimentary shuttle service that will take you to any building on the resort so you don't ever have to worry about walking to far in those heels :) The rooms are large and each is slightly different. The beds are high and most have canopy's over them. Water pressure was exceedingly good and the insulation good so there was never much noise at night. Furthermore each night your bed was folded down, robes laid out chocolates on the pillows, lights dimmed, and soft music playing, a classy touch! |
