We have all seen the oh so cheesy adverts on TV beckoning people to come to the carribean, the golden sands, the bluer than blue waters,the couple holding hands and a small child with an overly exagerated smile placed on his or her face. Me being the sceptic that I am wrote this off as a cleverly orchastrated advertsing strategy surely it cant be this beautiful? I was wrong. I set off to the BVI to stay with a friend from back home who has taken residence as a skipper on the open seas.

virgin gorda is a wonderfull place if you like to chill out, beaches that are beutifull &empty. amazing sea food, diving is the best ever. the snorkling is awesome, and the cocktails are strong. try this place if you ever get the chance, the best way to learn sailing too.

Just a week R & R on the beach with a couple of friends and our kids.Very relaxing as the hotel was lovely.I don't think we ever left the grounds of the hotel.The most exhaustive thing was the daily hour long 5 a side football matches against the locals and other hotel guests.This is the life!!
