British Columbia, the Canadian West, is an incredible place. Full of mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, beaches, and ocean there is never short supply of outdoor activities.
British Columbians will be found fishing, swimming, running, hiking, driving around on all-terrain vehicles, biking, sailing, water skiing/wake boarding, skiing/snowboarding and rollerblading. They eat a lot of seafood in British Columbia and as a result sushi is also extremely popular. Tourists are often seen leaving the country with bags full of packaged smoked salmon. The smoked salmon cream cheese bagel is fabulous.

I love living in this city, I am very lucky. There is so much beauty that surrounds this city, and Vancouver Island in general. I work right downtown (first job), close to the inner harbour. It all started when the airlines Customer Relations office received an email from Oliver Agala of Vancouver, Canada last September 19. What was expected to be a usual letter of complaint turned out to be one of the greatest favors a passenger could ask from...

British Columbia, Canada -› Duncan, Canada -› ...
On Sunday February 26th, 2008 I figured I would take a trip to Duncan. I always rush up and down the Island, without really stopping anywhere along the way to look any more. So I figured because it is BC's 150th anniversay I would start being a tourist in my own neck of the woods, starting in Duncan the city of Totems.
There are nearly 80 totem poles in Duncan, both downtown and along a half of a kilometer section of the Trans-Canada Highway. There are 4...

Wow, my trip in China was something I'll never forget ... but as I look out the Hong Kong Oasis airline and fly over Northern-Mid-End of Vancouver Island I am suddenly reminded of the everlasting beauty and tranquility of Canada, my birth place! I must be getting home-sick for as much as I want to return to Asia, I now look forward to my new venture into Western Canada with my sister and her family who are keen on showing me various places around their hometown ...
I got off the H...
