Bristol Zoo Reviews
A popular Bristol attraction Jun 22, 2011
Bristol Zoo is one of the city's most popular attractions! It has been around for 175 years (as of 2011) and I'm sure still has many more years to come!
The big attractions at the zoo include the asiatic lions, flamingoes, gorillas, okapis and gibbons. It also has enclosures containing various different tropical birds, butterflies and bugs.
I think this is a great place to go out for the day as it has plenty to offer the tourist! The downside is the cost as it's £14 entry for a normal adult. However if you are a student or OAP then there are concessions.
It is relatively easy to get to as you can take a bus from either Temple Meads station or the city centre. This I'd say was the best and perhaps only way of getting there unless you are staying in Clifton.
I think this is a great place to go and see. It isn't as big as London Zoo but it still has a great deal to see and do!
