Seeing Bristol Harbourside Jun 06, 2011
I personally think the harbourside is one of the best things to see in Bristol! It has some good things to see like the SS Great Britain, which is a huge 19th century steam ship. It is one of Bristol's biggest tourist attractions as it is one of the ships designed by the Bristol engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

Another of Brunel's creations can be found not very far away. The Clifton suspension bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks in Bristol. Definitely a good thing to go and see!

As well as the victorian sights, the harbourside is also host to a number of festivals throughout the year and various bars and restaurants. There are also cheap boat trips which can take you from one end of the harbourside to the other.

The Clifton suspension bridge is free to see but there is an admission fee for the SS Great Britain and for the festivals, but this probably won't be very much! The bars and restaurants here aren't that cheap but it is nice have the views of the waterfront while dining.

I hope you enjoy the harbourside!
