Portsmouth, Brigthon,Cambridge and London... Porstmouth is a quite, lovely city which feels you more closer. Cambridge worths to see for its beautifull streets and historical buildings and colleges.. Brighton is a good city but I wish be there in the summer term. London is a fantastic city but it is cold and always raining :( I will be crazy, ohh it is crazy that every day it is fucking raining :) Though I enjoy London..

Now just to set the scene. In the north we have Blackpool as our local seaside town. Blackpool is a tacky, cheesy, dirty but great place on the North West coast of England. It has piers, a tower, (a little smaller than the similar one in Paris), trams, Christmas lights, candy floss, retired peop…

Not much to say really still trying to set up the phone, organise a bank account and get life semi-sorted. We enjoyed a quick daytrip down to Brighton, but the rocks on the beach didnt quite do it for Michael!!! Also went to check out the beginning and end of time at Grenwich. Michael and I also tried to act really cultured in the national gallery but to no avail!

We spent a great day with friends in Brighton.  They took us on a scenic tour through rolling hills and the seashore.  We stopped for lunch at an English Country Pub.  In the evening we spent an enjoyable time talking in the garden of their 400 year old house.  Thank you Mary an…

i've finally managed to escape the oh-so-fascinating world of hedge fund finance, and am now decadently indulging my long-suppressed wanderlust with 15 months on the road and around the world... *note: apart from the odd review (generally of something not found in your standard guide book), this is really more just a map of my travels than a proper blog, but if you want more information on anywhere i`ve been or what i`ve been up to, send me a message and i`ll see if i can rustle something up.

We caught the 1030am train to Brighton from Victoria Staton. Having woken up later than planned, we didn't get to have breakfast, so Matt and I bought some sandwiches to eat on the train. They were really good and I enjoyed my mango/orange juice as well. The train ride to Brighton only took 45 minu…

I thought I'd start writing about the place I know best - Brighton. For fear of sounding like a commercial - it's the best city I have ever been to - vibrant, lively, artistic, green, great clubs, bars, music... I wouldn't leave, but the world is just too big to stay!
