Brighton Outdoor Pool
Brighton Outdoor Pool Reviews
Good Cheap Fun on a Hot Day Aug 01, 2009
Brighton has a single outdoor swimming pool, that is open to the public. “The Outdoor Pool” as it is known locally is located at 1701 Skeel Street, which is the northwest corner of Benedict Park. As Colorado definitely has four seasons, and the pool is not heated, the pool is only open during the summer. It generally opens in late May and closes in late August.
Amenties include; a 20 ft water slide, separate baby pool, volleyball pit, locker room, picnic tables, children's playground, and a separate sunning area. Admission is free to under 6, $1.00 for 6-17 & Seniors, and $2.50 for adults. The pool is open from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 7 days a week. The pool can be rented for private events from 7 PM to 9 PM, six days a week. Wednesday nights are reserved for Family Night. Rental fee is $50 to $150 per hour, depending on the number of people you expect attend. Rental fee includes staff. On the last swim of the summer, the pool is open (for a few hours) to dogs! $5 per dog allows your dog to frolic in the water as well. You are responsible for all clean up of your animal.
