Bright Angel Restaurant Grand Canyon Reviews
Reasonably priced food, great view with passable food Apr 28, 2012
We dined at the Bright Angel Restaurant at the Canyon South Rim after what seemed like a long tour because of the heat. I had eaten here on one prior occasion, this time I had my family with me. The service was reasonable, could be better, so was the food.
I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad which came already mixed, something I do not like. the chicken tasted half cooked so I did not eat any of it after my first bite. My husband, sister and daughter did the best thing, ordered burgers with french fries and onion rings. It seemed it was their best cooked food.
I did not like the fact that the restaurant shared the same restroom with the rest of the establishment. It was located at the other end of the establishment and had no changing room for babies. Considering the number of tourists with children, one would think the establishment would consider adding a room for changing babies.
Thinking back to my experience the last time I was here, I decided I would not go to the bathroom as it was more crowded than ever, the dryers are incredibly loud. I changed my baby in the car.
The price was reasonable, we paid &40.46 for all four of us, cheaper than the amount I paid at the IHOP in Flagstaff for breakfast.
