Brier Island Lodge ... Ocean Side Accommodations, Eastern Dining Experience, along the Bay of Fundy!! Jul 17, 2008
Brier Island Lodge is the place to stay when touring Brier Island ... you get alot for your dollar and it is right beside the Bay of Fundy ... actually the island is surrounded by the Bay of Fundy.

You be able to lean on rocks and face out into the Ocean or Bay of Fundy, which is connected to the Atlantic and peacefully watch the Sun rise or set ... with a light house in the foreground and the water whisping the shores in the background with the reflection of the sun!

In the early morning you can walk from the lodge and catch seals basking in the sun ... be sure to bring a large lens as they float to far for that great shot.

The staff make you feel like family ... a small staff that definitely ensure each customers leaves happy and feels so welcomed. It will always be a special place for Dan and I (Roselle) celebrated our 10th Anniversary here ...

If you're looking for a high tech hotel or motel to stay at, you won't find one here ... but if you're looking for comfort, friendliness, and that added effort in staff you'll find it here while enjoying what this part of Canada has to offer!!!!!!

Our trip East for our Anniversay >> Brier Island Lodge Jul 03, 2003
Brier Island Lodge was purely a place to sleep ... being the last point on Nova Scotia this tiny island doesn't 'house' high end hotels ... but I wanted to reached one end of Nova Scotia and so we settled for a lodge that we thought would be the best.

They accommodated us with delicious breakfasts in their dining room ... the cost was nothing as compared to the great tasty servings ... but we'd quickly eat up and run out to watch the seals bathing in the sun or the water splashing up onto the island or watch the tide off the Bay of Fundy recede ... there was just too much to see in so little time

I actually would recommend this family run operation, for what you pay the value you get back in return exceeds, based on customer service...

A dog to welcome you when you arrive with warm and friendly staff smiles, service, and direction and advice on what to do (for tourists) ... I would return when revisiting this end of Canada
