Bridgewood Manor Chatham Reviews
A retreat in Middle Kent Jun 26, 2008
The hotel is listed as 4* and AA rated. If the rooms were updated, I would fully agree with the 4* rating. And when I was staying with them, one morning I witness many of their beds being removed to be taken away. So, maybe they realized this and were taking steps.
The location is lovely in that is is surrounded by a park like setting. The lobby is very nice and has that English country fee. This is what I would excpect....we're in the English countryside. They even have little study like nooks to read in. There is also a beautiful courtyard, wonderful to have a drink or walk around.
The offer spa services and have a pool as well.
The rooms were clean but a bit outdated. As I said, previously, I think this was being addressed. The bath was large and clean.
The restaurant served delicious meals in a rich country setting.
The bar even serves a portion of the restaurant menu and other tasty snacks.
If you do not have a car, taxi will be required to get to and from the rail station.
