Food hunting in Brickfields Mar 17, 2012
Let's just say if you happen to be in KL Sentral - arrived from somewhere (airport/monorail/lrt/bus), and you wanted to have something special. Cross over to the opposite road to find your gem.

Mayflower Food Court- opposite of PosLaju (Postal Service)- directly behind an open car park (Asia Carpark), you will walk into a small lane leading to a food court serving delicious pork noodles/ indian banana leaf rice. WARNING: As this is a working class area, do get there before lunch hour (1-2pm) to avoid the big crowd. Pay about RM5++ to enjoy a bowl of delicious 'Peter Pork Noodles' and RM8++ for a set of indian banana leaf rice (vege). Of course you can add on with choices of meat.

Not far away from Mayflower, another discovery at Yit Seang Coffeeshop is located (opposite YMCA building). In front of the shop, you will find a team of Father and Son selling deep fried banana/curry puff/sesame balls. Eat it while it is hot (Starts from noon till 6pm)

Good luck and have fun! :)
