Briants Kyoto Reviews
A great place to have an enjoyable cafe style meal May 05, 2009
Briants is located opposite the botanical gardens in Kyoto. We happened to come across the place before visiting the gardens however cause it was Golden week at the time we were made to wait approximately an hour to be seated.
But the wait was definately worth it. Briants is a cafe style restraunt, very spacious which is rare for Japan.
The choices are a set course or you can choose individually from the menu but the set course is a lot better value for money.
The set course that we chose was
Spaghetti with tomato, chilli sauce so nice but be careful not to eat one of those chillies.
This was also served with garden salad and all you can eat bread freshly baked in their bakery down below. The bread was so fresh and soft that we ate 2 baskets of different varieties of bread.
Next came dessert a creamy caramel pudding served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some sweet pears.
Last but not least a nice cup of warm coffee. All this for only $14 Woohoo bargain
