Bri Hostel Panama City Reviews

Cheaper option in Panama City Jun 04, 2016
I originally came to Panama since having a multiple-day layover saved me hundreds of dollars on the way my flights were calculated. Being in that mindset to continue to try and save some money, I was on the hunt for budget hotels and/or hostels. With that being said, there really are none in Panama City, with the exception of Bri Hostel.

The staff are always available, and typically pretty prompt to reply to any email. I found that sometimes I had to call a couple times simply because they may be in the kitchen area and don't hear the phone at the front desk. But that aside, they were very friendly, helpful and sociable.

They only have shared bunk style rooms, with 6-, 8- and 10-man rooms. The bathrooms are clean and kitchen is too.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and sociable. It is a ~45 minute walk from Casco Veijo, or a ~12 minute bus, or ~7 minute taxi depending on traffic. It is ~$25 dollar taxi from the airport. About 5 minute walk from the Multiplaza on Via Israel.

They provide a free breakfast of pancakes every day. And while there is no great beach close to Panama City, they do have a tiny swimming pool which is good to sit and cool down on hot days.
