central Leicester. I really enjoyed the place, especially since their Punk IPA is one of my favourite beers. It was once an office building which was turned into a pub, the interior can be described as industrial or functional – in some points, it rather looks like it was once a factory. Those who have visited other Brew Dog pubs may know what I am talking about.

Friendly atmosphere, not like an after-work party but more a place where you can go to chat with friends over a pint or some more. Audience was mostly people in their 20s and 30s, bad tongues might call some of them “hipsters”. Occasionally, there's live music on a small stage at the ground floor or in the large room upstairs which sometimes also hosts other events. Sometimes, game consoles are available to challenge a friend or make new ones.

The focus is on craft beer (a dozen of their own stuff plus a handful of guest ales on tap, many bottled beers as well), but they have also other drinks available. They have good pizza offers - at least, when they haven't run out of dough which was the case when I was there. Beside the pizzas, there is also a food menu, but I was too late for that one, so I can't tell you anything about the food in this place.
