Breakfree The Waterfront Hotel Queenstown

Touted as a "Premier Resort". I fail to see how ANY aspect of this place is to resort level.

No internal door locks worked - no privacy
No garage remote until I made a noise about it. One magically appeared when I did. Advertised with "off street secure underground car parking"
Dirty bedding - was taken away after we made it known
Bottles beer under bed and rotting food behind TV - cleaners not doing their jobs
No curtains - don't know about you but we have curtains at home. Passers by with nice view of the living room
Cupboards full of bedding, eg doonas, pillows - so much so there was not enough room for our clothes
Not enough towels - after paying an extra $400 for an extra child, you'd think we could get an extra one. I ended up stealing one from the linen closet. We weren't the only ones stuck with this problem
Chairs falling apart - we found ourselves fixing them
Iron doesn't work properly - useless with no heat
No ISD phone - told by reception on how to dial Oz. After trying for 2.5 hours, we gave up. When asked the next morning to help us dial out, we were told there was no facility to dial OS.
A breaker will blow if there is more than one heater on with the TV. This matched with lights flickering and a bathroom exhaust fan that is so full of dust, it just sits there and buzzes, I predict the place will burn down anyway.
Toilet sticks - an annoying waste
Advertised with laundries, dial-up Internet, In-house movies, Stereo system and Security system - rubbish

BreakFree The Waterfront is perfect for couples, families and groups alike. We will NOT be staying there again.
