Red Piano Restaurant, Pub Street, Siem Reap Mar 27, 2017
During our TB meetup in the month of March 2017, we had planned to meet at Red Piano, Pub street for dinner. Jon (TB northlight) had already made reservations here for a group of about 15 people. This restaurant is on the corner of pub street. This was really a nice venue for the meetup and it could accommodate the whole group comfortably.

This restaurant provides a 2 storied sitting arrangement. Downstairs, you can sit outside and watch the busy Pub street with colourful lights and lot of activity going on. So if you like people watching then its a perfect spot. At upstairs there is a big dining hall.

Now coming to food, there were variety of options on the menu from Cambodian cuisine to Italian. I ordered the dish Butter Garlic Prawns and they were ammmzaing..The price of food was also very reasonable and service was fast and efficient.

The only drawback was, this restaurant and another restaurant just opposite to it were playing music in too much loud volume. Sometimes it was too irritating and we could not communicate with each other properly. So if you like to dine in peaceful environment then keep away otherwise its a best spot on Pub Street to enjoy.

Loud music in a restaurant is most annoying.

Food was definitely way better and cheaper than that Amok place where we had lunch!

Dinner at Red Piano Jan 25, 2011
always want to eat local food while visiting some places, and so I ordered Amok Fish with rice. It was cooked with some spicy sauce and some leaves, called "Nyak Lau" (feel free to correct me) as I asked the lady server what was it. The restaurant itself is nice and very strategic as in the corner of Pub Street.

Red Piano restaurant is located along the Pub St and it serves great meals. The garlic cheese prawns is a fantastic to start your appetite going. Great place to chill out over dinner.

we had most of our breakfast here (except for once when we skipped breakfast with a tiny Snickers bar on hand) since we stayed at the Red Piano Guesthoue which provided us with free breakfast every morning and were quite delighted with the services. although timing states that breakfast starts at 7am and ends at 11am, the staff were quite delighted to serve us at 6.50am even though they were just starting up and setting furnitures out. Breakfast includes a coffee/tea with a cookie, 2 toasted bread which comes with jam and butter, and a plate of fruits (sliced up bananas, dragon fruits, oranges, apples) which we couldn't finish most of the time. Orange juice will be an additional USD$1 but Overall it's quite a well worth breakfast, the down side hough being that one has to cross the main street from the guesthouse towards the restaurant where breakfast is served.
