A part of Brazil in L.A.! Dec 15, 2011
I always go to Bossa Nova restaurant when I am in Los Angeles visiting my best friend. I know... I am brazilian and I eat brazilian food everyday, but it is good to feel at home when I am abroad!

They have the "quibe", "pão de queijo" and "coxinha" as a starter. Ask for a portion of those. I always go for the meat that comes with egg, rice, vegetables, etc.

And of course, you need to drink Guaraná, a soda made of Guaraná (a fruit from Brazil).

The only bad thing of this restaurant is that they do not serve beans with your food, which is so brazilian and taste amazing.

The staff is really polite and funny too. When you go there, make sure you relax and enjoy your moment because they are not that quick to bring your food.

But nothing is perfect in this world :)

By the way, they have more than one location around Los Angeles. Check on their webpage for further locations!
