I have family in Brasil so I do travel down there quite often. More frequently over the last several years. I'm a beach bum (definitely one from a previous life) so I most of my pics are from two beaches in Sao Paulo. (Guaruja & Praia Grande).

This was a little village off of the Amazon River. The locals were very helpful and welcoming. One man gave us a canoe ride to the other side of the river and invited us into his home.

I went on a medical missions trip with a church from Orlando - my first missions trip as a nurse using my skills. After a couple days in Manaus, we lived on a boat on the Rio Negro and went village to village, setting up a clinic for an afternoon. A really fun trip!

Amazing. Went to look at buying a beach front house and ended up meeting a wonderful woman. A warmhearted woman whom i will never ever forget in my life. You never know whom you will meet in your life.
