had a great time in brasil -- i particularly LOVED bahia - i.e., salvador, morro and boipeba.  i will most definitely miss the people - both tourists and locals - the weather and wearing flip flops day in and day out. the bus ride from buzios to rio was uneventful.  a cab driver from the bus station to the airport tried to rip me off by putting the meter on flag 2 -- when it was still daylight.  i said, hell no! as my plane woes go, my flight from rio to dc was delayed... I'm aware I can't say I visited Sao Paulo, because I didn't even leave the airport. But at least I put my feet outside the airport, hahaha. As we were enjoying our last breakfast at Pousada Evelina I heard two loud 'thuds' hitting the glass.
