Brauhaus - Abu Dhabi - TravBuddy

Went there for an early dinner with a colleague after our squash lesson. I had squash lesson once a week in the health club in the same hotel, Beach Rotana Hotel.
Apprently this place is one of the favourite place for hang out, so without any reservation, it'll be a bit impossible to get a seat. Fortunately there was an empty seat outside the restaurant. So we took the seat, close to the main door, just because my colleague insisted to get that seat so that once a while, when the main door opens,the cool wind from the AC inside can reach the seat. Well, he is coming from Scotland - and we are in the summer time in Middle East.. so, it explained the determination already.
We ordered german beer - Hofbraeu
Meatloaf for me (which is written under the "snack", but when it came, for sure it is not a mere snack!) and Pork Sausages.

The funny thing is that in the menu, they wrote it in full proper words in german (with some english translation of course), but the bill came with a short and easy to remember words - such as pork sausage, or meatloaf. Good that the Hofbraeu beer, they still wrote as it is on the bill, they dont't change it to "german beer" or something like it:).

The food was heavy, and the beer was good. The outside seat was cozy with wooden park-chair and table. While the inside seems very nice, with a section of wooden polished bar and the animal heads on the wall (hope they are faux)

A nice place to bring your date or just to watch euro cup since they provide huge screen for that!
