Bratislava ZOO Reviews

Amazeing time with the animals.... Mar 31, 2008
The Bratislava Zoo is 96 ha with more then 900 animals, 157 species, and the walk around the park is really amazeing. It's easy to loose track of time here. The zoo offers good open habitats for the animals and some of them apear within very close range.

Ofcourse the park has the nessecary ones like Giraf, Zebra, Lion, and Tiger. But also swans, shetland Ponys, European Buffalo etc. wich are uncommon within zoo parks.

To get around the entire park is definately a whole day excurssion that is worth every penny of the entrance fee.

One very interesting exhibit is Dino World which actually amazed me big time. They've created a theme park within the park dedicated to education about the long gone Dinosaurs. Real size models (some of them even moves and says sounds) makes a lively introduction to a world of animals long gone.
