I would never have found this place on my own, but I was with a local. it is a very, very discrete door that makes it look like a kitchen entrance in a basement in Queen street. Blink and you'd miss it.
The bar is nicely decorated, and has little nooks that have a sort of bed-like feel. They mix an extremely good Mojito. I can't quite remember how much the drinks cost, but I do remember thinking it's roughly west end of London prices, making it pretty close to the top end of Edinburgh. That said, I suspect the measures were quite genorous. That would explain the fuzziness on actual costs... Unfortunately, an excess of nerves meant that I can't remember the name of the little Argintinean restaurants in Stockbridge, so I'm sure interested readers can find it!
The bar we drank cocktails in was called Brambles, and I'll write a brief review. But I got really quite drunk, and it was very dark and nice. … hysteria |
