Brae Lodge Guest House Edinburgh Reviews
Affordable Comfort in the lap of Nature Jul 21, 2013
I booked this B&B on the net without knowing anything about it. We arrived at the Waverly station from Manchester and the accomodation seemed very far then because the whole of Edinburgh had been dug up to lay tram tracks and so we had to take a round about in the cab. But once we reached it was like home, very very cosy and the bus stop is just outside. We had an amazing stay and the owners Leslie and Neil are wonderful people. Leslie is a fantastic cook and we loved the Sottish breakfast. In fact we loved Edinburgh so much that we went back again after two months and stayed at the same place, same room. It was like coming home. Only the season had changed and so the view from our window. The rooms behind give you a feel of beng in the countryside even though you are in Edinburgh proper. It is about 20 minutes to the mound by bus.I highly recommend this place especially to ladies in groups or alone.
