Bourbon Beach Reviews

Nov 08, 2007
Though we visited on a quiet night, it was apparent that this place could easily be off-the-hook on a good night. With its bar in the sand, large covered dance floor and thumping dancehall tunes, this place beckons you to come party! Bourbon Beach is not only a bar, restaurant and disco, but there are villa accommodations on premises as well if you want to stay at a 'party spot'. They advertise oceanfront accommodations with A/C and TV in addition to a patio balcony hot tub.

The restaurant's claim to fame is their jerk chicken and pork. I can't personally attest to this but next time I head to Negril's Seven Mile Beach, I'll be heading to Bourbon Beach for some jerk and rum punch. The bar mixes up a decent beverage and the music vibrates through the air, calling you to drink enough 'liquid courage' to get out on the floor and move your stuff. They currently advertise Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays as the live reggae music nights with a disco party after the show. Though if the schedule has changed, ask any local and they'll tell you which club is the happening spot for the evening. Bourbon Beach however, is one of a handful of hot spots on that end of Seven Mile Beach so you can usually find something going on there, especially during high-season. If you feel like shaking things up and gettin' your groove on, you should definitely take a walk down the beach, grab a seat at the bar to start, toss one back, and let the bumping reggae beats take hold at Bourbon Beach.
