Bounty Hotel Bali

If your going to bali as a solo traveler or enjoy a party like atmosphere and looking for people to meet i recommend this hotel. It is in a prime location of poppies lane Kuta. It's a short 5min walk to the famous Kuta beach and 5mins walk in the other direction to Kuta's Great nightlife and shopping starts two steps from the entrance to the hotel.
The hotel has two pools with swim up bars and the main pool is open 24 hours aday and also has a Dj playing beside the pool most days..so there is always a party like atmosphere there. At most times through the day you will have 20 or 30 people drinking and having a good time in the party pool. As i said the pool is open 24hours aday so most nights party revellers will come crashing in at all hours from the clubs,does makes fun viewing watching some of the antics going on lol If your looking for a break from it all then you head to the rear pool which is located towards the back of the hotel. This pool is more for relaxing and getting away from the craziness of the party pool :)
The hotel has theme nights most days including every friday a all you can eat and drink night which includes traditional balinese dancing,body building comps and drinking games. its a great way to meet people and a have a good time. I recommend this Hotel for the young or the young at heart, But i can guarantee you will have fun here no matter who you are.

im sure by now if you are thinking of going to Bali and your looking to party and enjoy your trip you have heard of the bounty hotel lol all i can say is this place is great... there are people from all ages.... (i was with some 17 year olds one nite then the next nite some 50+ bikers)

i have read other reviews where people have said this place can be noisy etc but yeah guess what its a party place with a 24 hour pool bar lol i mean what do you expect... this place is like being at schoolies 24/7 and if thats what your looking for then you will be very glad that you stayed here...

i would bring a family or young children cause lets face it party party party lol but no matter how old you are or how much fun you are wanting to have you will love this place!

Ok, this review swings both ways. If you want to party than this is your number one place to go while in Bali, however, once you have depleted all your brain cells and you want some peace and quiet this is NOT the place to be.
I have been twice now and both times had the same troubles. We started the first 5 days partying all day every day and all was fine and dandy. Until you have had enough of the same music playing over and over and the same faces and people going to the same clubs and partys as you. I have seen 2 guys overdose there which totally ruined my holiday. There is a party every wednesday and friday night where people participate in drinking comps, they soon realise that 15 shots in a row is not meant to be and end up in hospital. An ambulance is called most nights to the hotel and is just a common occurance. By the end I wanted a holiday after my holiday as it was non stop mayhem. For the flat out loose cannon I recommend it, for the standard chilled out traveller I'd stay far far away from the place.
It is right in front of the markets also so as soon as you walk out the hotel you are pestered beyond beleif by 60 thousand Indo's. With a throbbing headache it does get tough.

The Bounty lives up to its expectations and comments from various travel sites. Yes it does have a 24 hour pool bar and 24 hour DJ. You can sleep as well, the noise stays pretty central to the main pool, they shut the second one after some point at night.

The hotel is in between the main street on the beachfront and Legian Road, about a 10 minute walk in either direction to get to them. The place is surprisingly big for its location, has two pools with swim up bar and loads of lounge chairs, 5 internet terminals (20k for 20 mins), a restaurant I never saw anyone in and is laid out with 3 levels of rooms surrounding the pools. I had the top level so there wasn’t much noise from people walking by as you’d get on level 1.

I was the only non-Aussie in the entire place, which had I’d guess 150 guests at the time. Most people were travelling in groups of 10-15 it seemed, but you could meet people easy enough. There is also a tour desk where you can jump in on booked tours if there is room so check that out.

I couldn’t get one of the cheap rooms so I had a supreme room which was massive, far more than necessary and amounted to close to $50/night. You can get smaller rooms which I’m sure are just as good for less.

If you want to be right near the beach and are looking for more relaxation than non stop party this might not be the best spot for you. Some people never left the pool bar, I mixed it up with the beach and the clubs/pubs on Legian Road and enjoyed my time.

The 24 hour room service comes in handy with pretty good food for cheap when you make it back from the clubs.
