oh yeah. I remember when I drove over it back in November of 07, wishing I could see the whole thing from about 200 feet higher than I was. I ALSO remember thinking how silly it was to allow people to drive OVER the thing given the state of our national security concerns. I think I may have even seen the beginning preparations for this new highway when I crossed. And I agree again, that the route was quite congested, even at midnight.
