Be closer to the nature Oct 26, 2013
Botanical Garden-Institute of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences is the largest botanical garden in the Far East of Russia.

The Garden is located in a suburb of the city, 19 kilometers to the north of the center.

Botanical Garden-Institute is a protected natural area of federal significance.

The botanical garden has many different plants (more than 3100 open soil species). There are 780 species of tropical and subtropical plants in the greenhouses.

This place is ideal for relaxation. You are one on one with nature there. It's also quite romantic place. And the air is very fresh. If you walk a little further you can see the forest. It is very beautiful in autumn: colorful landscapes, all in gold and red colors. And as our city is situated on the hills, the view is really gorgeous. There are also geese, swans and fish in the pools. You can feed them. The nature is so splendid that you can walk there for hours admiring and enjoying.

The entrance costs about 3 dollars.
