Lovely Botanic Gardens @ Adelaide Feb 05, 2011
If you are visiting Adelaide, going to the Barossa Valley is not the only way you can enjoy beautiful scenery. You don't need to go so far, just take time to visit the lovely Botanic Garden, located right in the center of the city.

When you are in Adelaide, walking along the North Terrace is a Must and the Botanic Gardens are located there. This historical garden matches perfectly with the architecture of the Victorian buildings around.

There are different attractions within the gardens and you will find the following ones among them: glass houses, museums, exotic flowers in smaller gardens both native and from other parts of the world, etc. Some of these gardens are: the Classground, the International Rose Garden and National Rose Trial Garden, the Eremophilia Garden, the Cactus and Succulent Garden, and cycad and palm displays.

Besides the buildings and collections, there are permanen and temporary art exhibitions.

The Botanic Gardens are a peaceful place within a big city. The perfect place to relax and chill out. The Gardens are also a perfect location for a Wedding or any other big celebration, or just the right place to have a picnic and enjoy a beautiful day.

And it's free!
