10 Things To Do In BOSTON Apr 05, 2008
10 Things To Do In BOSTON:
1. Fanuil Hall/Quincy Market: Converted 18th century warehouses on waterfront. Shops, restaurants, bars.
2. North End: Old North Church, Italian Restataurants (Dolce Vita), & Bakeries.
3. Boston Common: In the heart of the city. Swan Boats, "Cheer's", Beacon Hill.
4. The Freedom Trail: Walking tour thru historic Boston.
5. Duck Boat Tour: Renovated WWII amphibious landing vehicles that take you on a tour throught the streets and on the Charles River. A lot of fun!
6. Fenway Park: Home of the Boston Red Sox. Tours are given each day. Game tickets are very difficult to obtain. Be ready to pay top dollar to scalpers.
7. Harvard Square (Harvard Yard): Across the Charles River in Cambridge. Home of Harvard University.
8. USS Constitution (Old Ironsides): The oldest commissioned ship afloat in the world. Located across the harbor in Charlestown.
9. The Union Oyster House: The oldest restaurant in Boston. Frequented by John F. Kennedy. Located near Fanuil Hall.
10. Boston Bars: Boston Beer Works (near Fenway Park), The Black Rose Irish Pub (Fanuil Hall area), Cask'n Flagon (another great Fenway Park bar; esp. after a Sox game)

Monday we did some thrifting in Cambridge. There is literally no decent thrifting happening in the city of Boston as far as I have ever been able to discover. It was like a million degrees outside on this day. Nevertheless we found ourselves walking…… Back in Boston, June 2006
