Borobudur Hotel Jakarta

Borobudur Jakarta Hotel is in the city center of Jakarta, Indonesia, 500 meters from Istiqlal Mosque, one kilometer from the Presidential Palace and two kilometers from the central business district. Berlin helped me pick this hotel. It is one of the older hotels in Jakarta, but it is well maintained and is a 5 star hotel. I found the staff very friendly and helpful.
Surrounded by 23 acres of tropical gardens and parkland, the hotel offers extensive conference facilities and recreational amenities. The hotel includes 19 function rooms, the largest with a maximum capacity of 1,200. The hotel also includes a business center. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available in public areas for a fee. Klub Borobudur, the hotel's health club, includes a jogging track, an outdoor pool and children's pool, a fitness center and fitness classes, and basketball, squash, badminton and tennis courts. Spa Borobudur offers a variety of massage techniques, wraps, facials, a sauna, steam room, spa tub and plunge pools. Dining options include Chinese, Japanese, Italian and Indonesian restaurants and 24-hour room service. The hotel also includes an afternoon tea lounge and a wine and cigar bar. Pets are not permitted at this hotel.
The 19-story hotel's 695 guestrooms offer pool and garden or city square views. Room amenities include high-speed and dial-up Internet access for a fee, satellite television, direct-dial phones, desks and safes. Coffee and tea makers, complimentary bottled water, mini-bars and bathrobes and slippers also are included.
My favorite part of my stay here were the gardens and the view I had from my room. Rates were very reasonable. I booked online for a special rate of just under 100USD. If you stay here and are looking for the coffee in the morning, please check the closet! This is where everything is stocked, but it took me a while to figure this out.
