Borgo teresiano. Feb 13, 2017
Borgo Teresiano is a neighbourhood characterized by grid like streets.

It was built on the place where the salt pans were. This area was wanted by the Austrian emperor Charles VI and completed by her daughter Maria Teresa in the 1800' s.

Here you can see the Canal Grande; built between 1750 and 1756. On this channel various boats are always moored. It is bordered by several palaces; by the church of St. Antonio Nuovo, some cafes, restaurants and shops.
