Borgo Sant'Ignazio Bosa Reviews
Authentic Sardinian cuisine with friendly service Jul 05, 2010
This authentic Sardinian restaurant is hidden amid the tiny mediaval lanes in Bosa's atmospheric old town. Arrive early for the few outside tables to fully soak up the vibe, otherwise the dining rooms are simple and nicely decorated.
The menu is made up of very tempting simple Sardinian meat and seafood staples. It is recommended in all the guidebooks that you go for the meat and vegetable dishes though. Make sure you try the fresh, local olive oil with the bread, yum (but don't had too much, we ate so much it almost ruined our mains!)
Note: If you want the suckling pig, you have to order it one day in advance.
I had a mushroom pasta dish which was delicious and simple and my boyfriend had pasta with mussels, huge and also very good. The house wine was nice and for desert I had a lemoncello sorbet drink, light and delicious.
Definately recommended for a good value, traditional Sardinian meal :)
