It's an hour flight from Moorea to Bora Bora but that includes a brief passenger pickup at the island of Raiatea. We landed in Bora Bora and the staff from the St. Regis hotel gathered our luggage and directed us to the boat that would take us to the resort. As we made our way across the lagoon…

Woke at 6:00, checked e-mail, had breakfast in the cabin and took the tender to meet the catamaran from O’Hana Cruises on the dock at 8:20. This was a 20 meter fiberglass catamaran sailboat built in La Rochelle, France. It was a beautiful boat and not at all crowded. Cruising with another identic…

Currently I am scanning some photos of this trip, but be patient, there are a lot of them!

WE SPENT 18 GLORIOUS DAYS SKIPPING BETWEEN THE ISLANDS OF BORA BORA AND MOOREA. THE WATER IS WARM AND CRYSTAL CLEAR. OUR BUNGALOW SAT ON THE WATER AND HAD GLASS FLOORS IN THE LIVING ROOM AND BDRM, WE WOULD JUST LAY IN BED AND LOOK OVER AT ALL THE COLORFUL FISH AND CORAL BENEATH US. (NOT A PLACE FOR THOSE ON A BUDGET, BUNGALOW WAS $870.00 PER NIGHT, "SIMPLE" MEALS RAN ABOUT $300 PER DAY) VEGETATION ON THE ISLAND WAS AS LUSH AND GREEN AS ANYTHING I HAD EVER SEEN. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK IN 2008
