Boomer's Sweet Home CHICAGO

This is a Chicago Style Restaurant that screams.."HOME!" We went in not sure what to expect since most of the places we visited in the Phoenix area have been disappointing. I ordered the Italian Beef with Hot Peppers. This was the Bomb! The best beef I have had since leaving Chicago. I then had to try a Chicago Style Hot Dog. To be honest, this dog was fantastic. The bun was a soft, freshly steamed poppy seed bun, that reminded me of all the neighborhood joints in Chicago. Then the dog and the toppings, WOW, cooked right and fresh. The dog had the right snap, showing it wasn't overcooked, and the toppings were fresh and tasty.

My guest had a Cheddar Burger. We frequent Wiener's Circle in Chicago, and this place is as good, if not better. The burger was juicy, the toppings were fresh and the Cheddar, well, the Cheddar was the same thing we get at Wieners Circle or Poochies. This place has succeeded in all aspects of the Chicago Style Experience.

Anyone looking for the comfort foods from home... Dogs, Beef, Italian Sausage, Burgers, Sliders or even a tamale... you need to experience this place. THEY ROCK and have it down to a science. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, FRESH and FAST.
