My friends and I had a great time hanging out here. The live blues band was great and the atmosphere was lively but not out of control. A fair mix of people here (no surprise) so it's not your normal yuppie crowd dressed all in black. It wonderful to see the Boom Boom Room as part of the blues and jazz resurgence in the Filmore district of the city. The drinks are good and the $15 cover is in line with what you'd expect to pay per person in the city.
