Indian Restaurant with amazing food, awesome shisha and of course Beer!!! Oct 02, 2011
Bombay Blues is the original Indian chillout lounge in a great location, away from the crowds of Khao San Road, and practically has the Soi to itself after dark.

A meal at Bombay Blues isn’t just about the food, it is an experience. It is a place to escape, to follow your heart, enjoy the people you are with, and relax. Romie, the owner (who I have gotten to know quite well) has created an amazing place with a chilled atmosphere. Whether you are seated outside or indoors, one thing all of the areas share is that there are no chairs — instead you’ll relax on pillowed mats, beds, or cushions all outfitted with bright, sophisticated jewel-toned pillows and bolsters. The restaurant has got a very beautiful and classy interior decoration with a red theme and spot lights to lighten up the place.

For a more novel experience, they’ve got table games, like Jenga and Connect Four, and brightly colored vodka jelly shots served in syringes and cocktail buckets for groups to enjoy together. All the foods that are being served are from a very skilled Chef with the other employees offering a very friendly service. Try Romie's own creation - chocolate naan bread - delicious!! Romie also gives his regular customers free shots on Sambuca, which can be dangerous!

They also serve shisha, and have a wide variety of flavours to choose from, more flavours than most of the other shisha bars in Bangkok I have been to. They also use goats milk instead of water in the shisha, which allows your taste buds to experience how people smoked centuries ago. Cherry-milk is my favourite!

It can get pretty crazy on weekends, with people dancing on tables into the early hours of the morning. Staff dont mind, and join in also. They are very friendly, and love to keep the customers smiling!

Whether you are looking for a romantic place to reconnect with your loved one, or a great space to host a large gathering, Bombay Blues offers it all! I have never left here without a smile!!
