The Municipality of Bolinao squats on the Northwest tip of Pangasinan Province. It is situated on the western portion of Lingayen Gulf. Bolinao is bounded by the China Sea on the north and west while on the east by the Kakiputan Channel, this channel separates Bolinao from the town of Anda, the only Island Municipality of Pangasinan and the south by rolling hills and plateaus of Bani. It is approximately 40 kilometers northwest of Alaminos City, 79 kms. away from Lingayen, the capital of Pangasinan, 106 kms. from Dagupan City, 274 kms. away north of Manila via Camiling, Tarlac, 365 kms. away from Manila via Dagupan City.

Patar Beach in Bolinao, Pangasinan is worth visiting. It's actually one of the more popular beaches in Pangasinan, with a good number of resorts in the area. It's very picturesque with strong blue waves lashing at the cream sand along the shore. Balingasay River is popularly known as the cleanest river in the Ilocos-Pangasinan Region. Balingasay River is a recipient of the highly prestigious Wetlands Conservation Award in 1994. What you see as you sail along the river are century old and new growth mangrove stands, stretches of attap palms for nipa huts roofing, balete trees hanging into the water, and different species of birds making their home on the top of the trees along the Balingasay
Saint James the Parish Church: Christian faith was introduced in Bolinao when the Spaniards first came in. About less than a hundred priests already had taken care of the local faithful.
TARA FALLS is a series of Falls located in the central part of Bolinao Pangasinan. It is around 15-20 minutes away from town of which half would be traveled through rough road conditions.
