Bolero Calgary Reviews
Expensive but great! Vegetarians need not go. Sep 04, 2010
Went there on September 1, 2010 with a bunch of my friends.
It is a Brazillian Steakhouse restaurant which means that they bring various meat to the table and cut it for you. This restaurant has 17 meat items and couple of salad bars. They also give you an object that if you put the GREEN on top you are ready for more food, RED on top that you are resting/finished.
There are three price ranges:
The Full Rodizio: $37.50. All access pass to all 17 skewers and the Fresco and Hot Bar.
Teaser Platter: $30. Choose 2 of the skewered items and we will carve 4 ounces of each item onto a plate for you and deliver it entrée style. This option also includes access to the Fresco and Hot Bar. (For 7.50 more person I would rather choose the Full one than this).
Fresco Bar and Hot Bar: $20 (not recommended not many items and there are better places in calgary at a lower price range)
We of course went all in and choosed the third one.
The people who was cuting the meat was very friendly and when we asked for an item. They brought it to us fast.
I would highly recommend the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon, Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb and the caramel pinneapple.
The service was great but near the end our server was kind of rushing us out even though it wasn't busy and we were just over the 2 hour mark.
The Menus/Offerings are on their website. Reservations are recommended.
