This was one of the best little gems we found the entire trip. Tony and his wife are the most hospitable hosts and are eager to get to know their guests. The unwavering Croatian hospitality from Tony and his family was infallible and we thoroughly enjoyed Tony's homemade schnapps, wine and vegetables for dinner as well as the homegrown pomegranates and flowers which greeted us on arrival!

Although the location is not right in the centre of town, it is easily reached by bus in 5-10 mintues and is right across from where many of the ferries depart to the surrounding islands, including Mjlet National Park. Bokun was the cleanest place we stayed at and due to the house being seperated back from the main road by a lovely little private garden, the guesthouse is very quite and relaxful!

Moved to the Bokun Guesthouse today after one night at another form of guesthouse. The room itself was okay but the bathroom was shocking! The Bokun is much nicer, its like a B and B. A young couple run the place and are very helpful with all things… Dubrovnik

When we opened our Guesthouse in 1985 we just wanted to have a place where all of our guests will have what we think is most important in traveling: security, cleanliness,warm welcome and a helpful staff. The guesthouse is situated in the peaceful area surrounded with huge garden so that you have a feeling that you are in a village instead of city center! We are distant 20 min on foot from the Old town or 5 min with local buses, port and the bus intercity terminal are distant 5 -10 min on foot, that's wh...(see more)y it is the ideal choice for the modern backpackers. Guesthouse is open all year-round with first class rooms - all of them with A/C, ventilator, heating ( 3 apartments have air-conditioning, satellite TV and full kitchen ). We offer a specious terrace with BBQ where guests can enjoy to meet other travelers from around the world. You can have a breakfast on our terrace for only 35kn (4.6 Euros) per person.
