Bokun Guesthouse, Obala Stjepana Radica 7 in Dubrovnik. This was an exceptional value. For a guesthouse/hostel things can get sketchy, but this place was very nice had heating and air conditioning, firm beds and fluffy pillows. We chose the cheaper option of a shared bath, the bath was clean the only issue was hot water, one shower and hot water was gone so needed to plan accordingly. They had no TV, so you really wont want to just hang out in the room, but basic and clean facilities and lovely host.
The host Tony was very knowledgeable and wants you to enjoy yourself, offers good recommendations and loans out information books.
This guesthouse was not in Old Town but down by the ferries, easy to get in to old town and best yet, if you have a car, free parking available.
It is a little tricky to find. It is down an alley way off the main street by the ferrys (Sobe sign on the wall before the alley way), no fret, just walk down the alley way and you end up at double doors, ring the bell and they let you in to a little oassis ;-) They have a large yard with garden and kiwi tree. They will show you where to park your car, it is on the otherside of the house.
