Boitzenburg Castle, which belongs to one of the most imposing castles in Brandenburg, is located in the north of Berlin and easily to reach by car, train and bus.
In the 13th century the castle was mentioned in official documents for the first time. The significant building changed hands because of sale, war and seizure a couple of times. Since 1415 the castle is in lasting possession of Brandenburg and from 1528 to 1945 the beautiful building belonged to the von Arnim family.
