Bohol Plaza Resort Reviews
Bohol Plaza Resort - overlooking Bohol May 21, 2008
We stayed in Bohol Plaza Hotel for a week last year for our Trainers' Training.
I had mixed impressions on the location of the hotel.. When we arrived there(the hotel van picked us up), my first thought was - oh no, it's tooo far from the city proper .. oh my, i can't easily get out to shop (haha).. On the other hand, when I got to see the view from atop, all i can say was WOW - such a beautiful sight.. The hotel which is located at Dayo Hill, Mayacabac, Dauis overlooks Tagbilaran City and is uniquely designed. They have many rooms and the hotel has many floors. Fact is, the hotels had many buildings and cottages to choose from. However, some of their rooms maybe small for big people (not a problem for me tho, haha).. The hotel, although beautiful (you can always laze in the pool and enjoy the sites) is not recommended for those who traveled for the first time in Bohol and would like to see more of the island UNLESS one has their own car or transportation.. It's the location which is the problem for the hotel..However, there's a free van which goes to the city 3x a day (one that needs advance booking with the reception). The food is wonderful - they cooked well in the hotel. For those who are on a diet, make sure you have have somebody to share your food with since the servings are big, hehe.. :) |

lunchtime. It was lowtide and there were some local kids playing with
crabs in the sand. We walked out quite far, being wary of the sea
urchins. It was nice to relax after a supe…… Beach! |

I arrived in Tagbilarin and took a taxi to the Alona White Sand Beach resort. The driver was trying to see if I was in the market for buying/investing in some land. He said that they were building an airport on the island and it was going to be the …… Diving of Panglao Island |

Day 2 (Stranded) I’m still sleepy but I have to wake up. Everybody’s up and I can’t stay lurking in my “wooden chair bed” because it’s where everybody is supposed to sit. I sat still, dragging my thoughts to the present when I saw …… Series of Unfortuante Events II |
