local cafe Jun 08, 2012
Passed by this cafe on my walk to Diamondhead Crater.

I ordered a bagel with eggs, spinach and tomatoes for about $6? It was very delicious and the eggs were very fluffy.

Seems to be well known among locals. And their specialty is acai fruit bowl ($10?) for breakfast which I saw was ordered by someone. It looked good.

Price averages between $3-15. They have a good selection of breakfast sandwiches and bagels too.

Service was a bit slow. The staff friendly. Adequate seating inside with limited seating outside.

Delicious Breakfast! Mar 28, 2012
Bogart's is a little cafe that most tourists do not know about. They have a great breakfast selection...I would recommend either the Acai bowl, which is acai frozen yogurt with assorted fruits/berries with honey - its really good - or the Crab/Avacado omelette. There are a lot of choices and they are all great!

This place is small with limited seating, and the line does get long at times. The best time to go is during the week in the morning.

Oh and its....

Great food and spot for locals Jul 16, 2011
Food is great, all fresh vegetables and fruit. Cash only. Can be a bit of a wait in line but worth it once you get your food. Acai bowls and waffles are great breakfast choices. My fave is the breakfast bagel. Avocado and crab omelette is a must if you haven't tried it yet-they use REAL crab meat, not the imitation stuff. Coffee is ok, not their specialty.
