Boekel Vacation Guide
Boekel is a small town which was founded in the early Middle Ages. It's name means literally "The Woods of Sir Bok".
The town has a little less than 10,000 inhabitants, but it's surface area is not that small since there are a lot of agricultural businesses.
The village has a rural atmosphere, friendly people and a small towncentre where the basic groceries can be done. For a shopping spree Boekel is not suitable, you need to go to Uden (9 kilometres away) or the larger cities Eindhoven or 's Hertogenbosch (on a good half an hour drive).
