Bodø is a city in the north of Norway in the county Nordland. It has 45000 inhabitants and is the second largest city in the north of Norway.
Bodø has a lot of wind, but the nature surounding is amazing. We have Saltstraumen the world largest tidal current in the world. Up to 400 million m³ of seawater forces its way through a 3 km long and 150 m wide strait every six hours, with water speeds reaching 20 knots.
We have the midnight sun and the sea is surounding all of the city!

When the hostess announced that we were approaching Bodo. I went outside to watch the ferry pull in the city limits. NATO had the large military base in Bodo. As we were pulling in, the airport was near the port. We were also meeting our water rafting tour group which was to the right as we disembarked the ferry. This was a 90mins tour.
