Bodegas Tio Pepe Jerez Reviews
Oct 09, 2007
It was a very interesting visit, at the same time pretty (in the garden, around the vineyards…) and instructive. I learnt a lot about techniques for the fabrication of sherry, brandy and wine.
Our guide was good and she could answer every single question very clearly. The visit was interactive with different places and different themes. The time for each subject was just perfect.
It ends with a degustation of two different Sherries: a sweet one and a dry one.
The visit costs 9€ with the degustation, and for an extra 5€ it is possible to have tapas with it. I am not sure tapas are worst 5€ to be honest.
Then in the shop, the guide is there for those who want to try some brandies. I was so ashamed to find disgusting the 15 years old one compared to the 3 years old…!
