Bodega Hotel Hanoi

This was a funny hotel. The building was old, which gave it some character, twisting your way around the hallways like a maze. The staff was friendly, but the room smelled old and musky. It was clean (not overly), but just had a funky smell to it. The bed sheets were hilarious. I'll have to try and find that picture to post it! The hotel gave us a little problems finding on foot, but that was because our door-to-door minivan from Halong dropped us off at THEIR depot door, instead of ours. So we eventually got here, which is walking distance from the old quarters of town and the Hoan Kiem Lake (especially if you are walking in the correct direction). There are a number of shops and restaurants in the area, making it easy to stay here. I think I would try a different place next time, only to get to try a different part of the city.
