Bodega Bay is located on the Sonoma Coast, less than 70 miles north of San Francisco. A rich historical area is known in modern times as the setting for Alred Hitchcock's, The Birds.
This sleepy coastal town offers a variety of activities and an unsurpassed view of the Pacific Ocean and Northern California's rocky cliffs. There is local fishing, dog friendly beaches, golf, horse back riding, and kayaking, as well as surfing and diving opportunities. Many hiking and walking trails await visitors as well. Unique shopping, local art galleries, and fresh seafood provide a great opportunity for leisurely afternoon strolls to unwind.

The drowsy little town, 65 miles north of San Francisco, was discovered by Hollywood in the 1960s when Alfred Hitchcock decided it was the perfect locale for filming his atmospheric thriller "The Birds".
